Why We Built PageSnap.co: From Bots to PDFs, Our Startup’s Pivot Story
Hey everyone! 👋 We’re Centil Technology, a small but mighty startup based in Penang, Malaysia. We love building cool online solutions, and today, we’re super excited to share our latest project with you: PageSnap.co.
Our Journey So Far
Let’s start with a little backstory. Over the past few years, we’ve developed several products. Some worked out, some didn’t (hey, that’s startup life!). But two that really stood out were TrafficBot.co, an automated marketing tool, and Wopu.co, a private web chat app.
Why the Pivot?
Here’s where it gets interesting. After five years of working on bot automation for TrafficBot.co, we started thinking: what else can we do with all this experience under our belt? That’s when the idea for PageSnap.co came to life.
Solving a Real Problem
Why did we pivot to this? Well, we noticed a common problem while building TrafficBot—businesses needed a simple and reliable way to capture website content as PDFs. Whether it’s for generating reports, archiving pages, or saving content for offline access, there wasn’t a great tool out there that was easy to use and developer-friendly. So, we thought, “Why not build it ourselves?” 💡
What is PageSnap.co?
That’s how PageSnap.co was born. It’s an API that lets you convert any website into a PDF quickly and seamlessly, using the latest tech. And we’re offering free credits to help you get started. We’re in the early stages of this journey, but we’re confident this is going to be a game-changer for developers and businesses alike.
A Simple, Reliable Solution
We’re keeping it simple, reliable, and accessible—just what you need to get the job done without any hassle. Plus, we’d love your feedback! We’re always looking for ways to improve and make this tool better for our users.
